The Foundation Center-Atlanta is located in the lobby of the historic Hurt Building, which is on the southwest corner of Edgewood and Peachtree Center Avenues. Adjacent buildings are SunTrust Bank, the United Way Building (Woodruff Volunteer Service Center), and Georgia State University's Arts & Humanities Department, Kell Hall and Science Annex.
The Foundation Center-Atlanta is accessible to people with disabilities. The entrance on Hurt Plaza is the best entrance for visitors in wheelchairs, but the Edgewood Avenue entrance is also wheelchair accessible.
Before You Visit
To get the most out of your visit, we suggest bringing a USB flash drive to save information from our databases. You can also bring your laptop and use our WiFi to search Foundation Directory Online from your own desktop!

Directions
Public Transportation (MARTA)
From the Five Points station, look for the Peachtree Street exit. Turn left (north) onto Peachtree Street. At the main intersection, turn right (east) onto Edgewood Avenue; Woodruff Park will be on your left. The Hurt Building will be on your right as you approach Peachtree Center Avenue.
From the Georgia State station, turn right (north) onto Piedmont Avenue. Turn left (west) onto Gilmer Street, which ends at the intersection of Peachtree Center and Edgewood Avenues. The Hurt Building will be ahead of you, across Peachtree Center Avenue.
Driving
I-75/85 southbound: Take the Jesse Hill Drive/John Wesley Dobbs Avenue exit (Exit 248D). Turn right onto Edgewood Avenue, which is the third traffic light. Drive three blocks to Peachtree Center Avenue. The Hurt Building will be on your left.
I-75/85 northbound: Take the Edgewood Avenue exit (Exit 248B) and turn left onto Edgewood Avenue. The fifth traffic light is at Peachtree Center Avenue. The Hurt Building will be on your left.
Parking
The closest parking facility is the Hurt Plaza garage at Edgewood Avenue and Hurt Plaza. If you are following the driving directions above, drive through the intersection at Edgewood and Peachtree Center Avenues. Hurt Plaza will be the first street on your left.
The Hurt Plaza garage, located at the intersection of Hurt Plaza and Edgewood Avenue, is open for hourly parking Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The public parking rate is $1.00 per 20-minute segment ($3.00 per hour) up to a maximum of $10.00 per day, payable by cash or credit card.

Services for People with Disabilities
To ensure equitable access to our library resources for all, the Foundation Center is committed to providing services to individuals with disabilities. These services include but are not limited to:
In the Library:
- Wheelchair-accessible reference desk and computer workstations.
- Free photocopying of a reasonable number of pages from books and other library resources within the parameters of copyright laws.
- For the visually impaired, one computer has an extra large monitor for better viewing of enlarged images. Reader services are also available with advance notice.
- For those with physical impairments to the hand, a trackball is available at two computers in lieu of a mouse.
In Our Training Room:
- For the hearing impaired, a signer is available upon request for our scheduled training sessions (Two weeks notice is required to schedule a qualified signer).
- Chairs are easily moved to accommodate wheelchairs.

The entrance on the Hurt Plaza side of our building is the best entrance for those in wheelchairs, although the Edgewood Avenue entrance is also wheelchair accessible.
