The Foundation Center hosted this national teleconference as part of its Foundations for Education Excellence initiative, in cooperation with the Committee for Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, the Council on Foundations, the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, Grantmakers for Education, and Philanthropy Roundtable. Funders from the Chicago Community Trust, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and a representative from Arabella Advisors discuss the opportunities and challenges of helping states apply for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's Race to the Top.
