As part of its Foundations for Education Excellence initiative, the Foundation Center has recently launched Philanthropy In/Sight: Education, a customized interactive mapping tool designed to help education funders assess funding needs, find funding partners, identify potential grantees, and track giving trends in the field.

A free online webinar was hosted by a Foundation Center expert on how you can maximize your investments in education with this powerful tool. By observing a real-time demonstration of its features and participating in Q&A sessions, you'll learn how Philanthropy In/Sight: Education can increase your knowledge of the education funding field and inform your grantmaking strategy. This 60-minute webinar will show users how to:

• Plot the locations of grantmakers and grant recipients on Google maps and view detailed information about their activities and grants awarded and received
• View aggregated grantmaker and grant data by country, state, county, city, metro area, congressional district, ZIP code, and school district
• Overlay grant data with demographic, socio-economic, and other data
