Elaine Luttrull, director of financial analysis, The Juilliard School, explains the who, what, when, why, and how of budgets, and clarifies the differing roles of staff and board in the process.
Michael Royce, executive director, New York Foundation for the Arts, gives real examples of not-so-perfect budgets that needed amplification or clarification in order to pass muster at his grantmaking organization. He also provides basic information about utilizing a fiscal sponsor.
