Symposium on the Future of Philanthropy: A Conversation with Five Leaders in the Field
New York, NY
November 9, 2006

The Foundation Center's 50th Anniversary Symposium provided a forum for a free-ranging discussion of many key issues that will have an impact on the future of philanthropy. The speakers' depth of experience and diverse perspectives on the field as well as incisive questions and comments from the audience resulted in a lively, thought-provoking session that was captured on video. The symposium preceded the Center's gala anniversary celebration on November 9, 2006, and was held at the newly unveiled Diker Pavilion for Native Arts and Cultures at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in New York City.

The Foundation Center is grateful to our 50th Anniversary Sponsors for providing financial support for our symposium and celebration.
