Sources of Foundation Information
The Center's sources of data on active grantmaking foundations
include: detailed financial and programmatic information provided
directly to the Center
through the Center's annual survey of foundations; copies of the
Form 990-PF information return filed by all private foundation
and provided to the Center by the IRS in CD-ROM format; and financial
and program information provided by foundations
in their annual reports or other publications.
