Guidelines

Current policy of the A&J Family Foundation limits our grantmaking to 501(c)3 charitable organizations either located in, or conducting a substantial portion of their programs in, North Central Texas. No multi-year support will be offered at this time.

These guidelines may be subject to change as the Ends Policy of the Foundation is reviewed annually. Please submit a letter of inquiry or contact us by e-mail or phone before submitting a full grant proposal.

Current deadline dates for submission of proposals are:

• March 31st, 2012

• July 31st, 2012

• October 31st, 2012

In some cases grant proposals may be held until a following deadline, but all grants will be either approved or declined in the year submitted. In limited circumstances, such as funding requests for time-sensitive events or emergency needs, grants may be made before a deadline.
