REVISED FOR 2008

Please Note:

Each year, The William Bingham Foundation selects a particular area of interest for grant requests coming from organizations with whom we do not already have a relationship. In 2008, the Foundation will be considering support for organizations improving access to health care for low-income breast cancer patients in Cleveland, Ohio, and Washington, D.C., through public education, diagnosis, treatment, and other means. After all applications have been reviewed, one or more applications will be selected for development into a complete proposal to be considered by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees in August 2008. Applicants not selected for consideration by the Board will be notified by May 31. The maximum grant amount is $25,000.

The application deadline for organizations submitting applications for programs for low-income breast cancer patients is April 30, 2008.

We invite eligible applicants providing services to low-income breast cancer patients to use the common application "short form" developed by Ohio Grantmakers Forum. Please download the application form here. Once you have completed the form, save the document to your computer and send it as an email attachment to the Foundation at info@wbinghamfoundation.org. Include the words "2008 Application" in the subject line of the email message. With the exception of the project budget, please do not include the attachments listed on the form.

Organizations with which the Foundation has a prior relationship may not use this form and are required to contact the Foundation to obtain the appropriate forms and application deadlines.

Please visit the Foundation Center for resources on proposal writing and to learn about other grantmakers and their funding interests.
