Beltzhoover Citizen's CDC (for Voices Against Violence) $700
Provide partial support for interactive community training event designed to increase understanding and community responses to domestic violence, child neglect and infant mortality through a Moms & Cops Focusing on Family Symposium on June 13, 2001.
Beltzhoover Citizen's CDC (for Voices Against Violence) $1,500
Support facilitator for planning process to create organizational structure and community engagement plan.
Brashear Association (St. Clair Peace in the New Year) $200
Provide partial funding of a safe youth focused event sponsored by the St. Clair Self-Sufficiency Committee to help promote peace in the community.
Conservation Consultants (for South Pittsburgh Coalition for Housing Services) $1,000
Assist with meeting expenses and brochures. Increase community awareness of coalition services through community meeting and brochure.
Mental Health Association $1,000
Partnership to support a focus group project examining local access to depression treatment for African Americans residents.
Phillip Murray Elementary School $600
Promote positive community interaction and resource information through support of Phillip Murray School's Family/Community Fun Night which brings students, school staff, parents, and residents of Mount Oliver and St. Clair Village together.
