Provide a safe and structured summer program for 100 youth, aged 9-18, who reside within the South Side communities.

Provide flexible support for short and longer-term needs of families and individuals who relocate temporarily or permanently to Pittsburgh as a result of Hurricane Katrina, including case management and unanticipated special needs.

Enhance the ability of the Center to continue quality care to an expanding number of residents and emerging needs with support for an additional family physician, expanded dental care, translation and related patient supports.

Provide funds for professional support (project management and capital campaign consultants) to help facilitate the timely creation of a permanent facility to house the Hilltop Community Healthcare Center and other community resources, which may include renovation of a site or a new building.

Reduce risk factors for domestic violence through implementation of intervention groups for high school students and a medical advocacy program at UPMC South Side.

Reduce community violence through continued services to high-risk young adult males from Beltzhoover and St. Clair through conflict resolution, case management and group mentoring activities.
