The Birmingham Foundation Board of Directors and staff announce the publication of the 3rd Edition of the Birmingham Directory – online.

The 3rd Edition of the Directory will be launched on the Foundation’s website – www.birminghamfoundation.org – on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. The Directory contains current information for organizations and agencies serving South Pittsburgh. The Foundation chose to release the 3rd Edition in an online format in order to be more ‘green’, and to allow for the most up-to-date listings. Users will have the ability to search listings by program category or view the full Directory. Printing single listings or the entire Directory will also be available.

Please log on to www.birminghamfoundation.org to view the Directory. The Foundation welcomes any corrections, feedback, or new additions.

The Birmingham Foundation was founded in 1996 as a private foundation with assets from the sale of South Side Hospital to UPMC. The Birmingham Foundation has awarded over $9.7 million in grants to over 145 organizations since grantmaking began in 1997. Our target area includes 14 communities, among which are Allentown, Arlington, Beltzhoover, Carrick, Knoxville, Mt. Oliver, Mt Washington, St. Clair Village and the South Side (zip codes 15203, 15210 and 15211).
