eGrant Reporting

Instructions for Submitting Grants Data

Grantmakers can submit grants data in an Excel file that follows simple guidelines. Grantmakers may include as many fields as are available that correspond to those listed in our electronic grant reporting standard.

Several commercial software vendors use the Foundation Center’s eGrant reporting standards, making it even easier to create eGrant lists by generating this data automatically. Refer to the list below to see if your software vendor is already a partner.

Please send your eGrant Reports to egrants@foundationcenter.org. The Foundation Center's target for processing and publishing all incoming eGrant Reports is within 10 business days of receipt of data files that meet our published standards and formatting. In some cases data may take longer to process if we receive an unusually high volume of submissions at the same time. When published, this data will be searchable in FDO and display in the interactive maps and charts for individual foundations.

Grants Management Software Partners:

The following grants management software companies participate in our electronic grant reporting partner program, including MicroEdge. MicroEdge was the Center's first eGrants Reporting Partner, and has included tools for generating reports based on the Center's eGrant reporting standard in its GIFTS products and FIMS software.
