PND Connections - Black History Month
Since 1976 and the nation's bicentennial, February has been officially recognized as Black History Month. This year, in celebration, Verizon, Verizon Reads, and the >NAACP have partnered to promote literacy and a dedication to education. From now until the end of the month, all donations made to Verizon Reads will be redistributed to NAACP literacy initiatives. Contributions to the program can be made online or by calling 1-800-999-8848.
