PHI - Development Associate
PHI seeks a full-time Development Associate. Based at our Bronx office and reporting to PHI’s Development Director, the Development Associate will work closely with Development and Executive staff to strengthen PHI’s organizational impact and sustainability.
The ideal candidate will bring a demonstrated talent for project management to support PHI’s Development Team in managing fundraising prospects and awards. The Development Associate will be responsible for scheduling and tracking reports, proposals, and other development materials, as well as coordinating correspondence and meetings. Candidates should exhibit excellent time management skills and attention to detail, with prior experience in project management preferred.
Position Responsibilities
- Thorough tracking of fundraising deadlines, proposal requirements, grant information, and contacts.
- Managing and drafting grant-related executive correspondence.
- Assist with researching prospects to help expand PHI’s funding sources.
- Helping to coordinate a range of fundraising meetings, visits, and events.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with a preference for candidates with grant administration experience.
- An ability to organize and execute projects in a timely fashion—independently and in collaboration with staff and PHI affiliates—in a complex, fast-evolving environment.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
