Girl Scouts of Utah - Cookie Program Assistant

Accountabilities

  • Assist with the organization and management of the annual state-wide Girl Scout cookie program.
  • Manage related paperwork, forms, and information. Insure accuracy with database, mailings, and communication efforts. Organize and track required paperwork.
  • Assist with all cookie-program related activities, events, and incentives. Assist with financial accountabilities, cookie inventory, and daily statistics.
  • Insure accuracy of activity credit assignment and distribution for all participants.
  • Coordinate and manage the cookie booth program to include creating partnerships with consumer retail locations, entering and updating online database, and partnering troops with locations.
  • Effectively resolve cookie account problems with parents, volunteers, and staff members.
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with staff members and volunteers to ensure deadlines are met and communications are received.

Qualifications

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to prioritize.
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft office, databases, email, internet applications, and internet research.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to edit work for spelling and grammar, present numerical data effectively, and able to read and interpret written information.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills while achieving results in partnership with others with the desire and ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma. Must be age 18 or over.
  • Willingness to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week as a non-exempt staff member, this may include some evenings and occasional Saturdays.
  • This position requires the moving, lifting, stocking, and carrying of boxes, furniture, and supplies. Must be able to bend down, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly range of $9.00 to $11.00 per hour with full benefits.
