The Financial Clinic’s (“the Clinic”) mission is to build working poor families and individuals’ financial security. This is accomplished by mapping a trajectory between poverty and prosperity through an innovative range of “financial development” services: reducing debt; improving credit; fostering savings habits; resolving legal matters; and financial planning. Financial coaching and legal supports ensure that customers who are financially insecure build the safety nets and assets that make financial mobility possible. The Clinic’s vision is that of systemic change by leveraging its on-the-ground lessons to creating systems-level solutions that impact its customers at scale.
Overview: Lead all aspects of development for a growing nonprofit with a budget of nearly $2 million and contribute to the senior management team. With Executive Director, oversee and manage all communications efforts.
Job Duties:

Create annual fundraising plans and oversee its implementation to ensure that fundraising goals are met/exceeded;

Create and monitor revenue budgets;

Attract new sources of funding and renew current grants;

Develop and execute donor relations strategy;
-
Manage and cultivate relationships with funders and donors;

Write proposals and correspondence to potential and current funders;

Plan and oversee annual individual donor campaigns;

Plan and oversee special events;
-
Create development materials as needed and ensure that they support the Clinic’s branding strategies;

With Executive Director create and implement marketing/strategic communications campaigns including social media and website upkeep;

Oversee database tracking of funders and donors with Salesforce;

Liaise with program staff regarding funding needs.
Qualifications:
-
At minimum, bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience as a fundraising professional;

Demonstrated track record raising funds from the private and public sectors and in event planning;

Proficiency with, Excel, MSWord, and PowerPoint;

Exceptional written and oral communications skills;
-
Fast worker, detail oriented, able to prioritize and work under strict deadlines;

Some marketing and public relations skills and software knowledge such as Eventbrite, MailChimp, Conference Edge is useful;

Knowledge of Salesforce useful.
Salary/Benefits: The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000. The Financial Clinic also offers an overall compensation package including: healthcare and dental insurance, retirement plan, competitive vacation, personal and sick days, and paid holidays.
