ACLU of Nevada - Legislative and Advocacy Director

The American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada (ACLU-NV) seeks a dynamic lobbyist and advocate responsible for advancing the civil liberties agenda of the ACLU-NV before the state legislature, executive branch, and administrative agencies as well as across the state through local governments and school boards. The ACLU-NV engages in policy advocacy on a broad range of civil liberties issues including criminal justice reform, privacy, immigrant and student rights, the rights of persons with disabilities as well as freedom of expression, religious freedom, LGBT and reproductive rights. The Legislative & Advocacy Director works under the supervision of the Executive Director and in close collaboration with other staff. This position is located in our Reno office and includes supervising two part-time Reno staff.
