CA Technologies Awards $1 Million to Sesame Workshop
CA Technologies has announced a $1 million grant to Sesame Workshop in support of an initiative that engages young learners in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education.
The initiative will provide free educational resources that present STEM concepts in fun and engaging ways at SesameStreet.org. Short promotional videos will reinforce the importance of STEM education and encourage families to make STEM learning part of their daily routine.
"Through early STEM education, we strive to help children develop stronger critical thinking skills and a better understanding of how things work to help prepare them for future learning," said Sesame Workshop executive vice president and chief marketing officer Sherrie Rollins Westin. "We're grateful to CA Technologies for supporting our work on STEM education and helping us to reach more children with this valuable curriculum."
