Expect Miracles Foundation Accepting Grant Applications for Under-Supported Cancer Programs
Expect Miracles Foundation Accepting Grant Applications for Under-Supported Cancer Programs
The Expect Miracles Foundation, formerly Mutual Funds Against Cancer, is accepting applications for the 2013 Miracle Maker Leadership Council Funding Award to support underfunded cancer programs.
MMLC awards provide grants of up to $10,000 to cancer fighting organizations and patient care programs where support is not always readily available. To be eligible for a MMLC grant, an organization must have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and provide services in at least one of the following areas: cancer patient care support programs and initiatives, cancer awareness and educational programs, and cancer prevention/health projects.
Priority is given to initiatives that can demonstrate sustainable benefits to the communities where foundation events are held and where MMLC members live. MMLC awards do not support private pursuits; political parties, associations and representatives of advocacy groups; organizations that discriminate by race, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or national origin; religious causes; advertising, promotion, or sponsorship programs; or individual or team fundraising initiatives or programs.
Additional grant application and eligibility guidelines are available on the Expect Miracles Foundation Web site.
