Attention California Nonprofit Organizations:
Scholarships Now Available for Grantseeker Training Courses
Scholarships are now available for under-resourced nonprofits in California to attend the Foundation Center's 2012 training courses. This initiative is generously supported by contributions from Pacific, Gas and Electric Company. These scholarships are designed to assist small, community-based nonprofit organizations to build their internal capacity in preparation for seeking financial support from foundations, corporations, or other institutional grantmakers.
Eligible Organizations
1) Organization must have 501(c)(3) status with the IRS
2) The total organizational operating budget must be under $1,000,000
3) Organizations must be located in California
Scholarship Amounts
To serve the greatest number of applicants, the scholarship will cover partial cost of the courses based on the organization's budget size. Nonprofit organizations are eligible to receive up to two scholarships per calendar year. The sliding scale scholarship amounts are outlined below.
