the Foundation Directory Online Professional free of charge, along with our growing collection of books, periodicals, and other print and electronic resources. No appointment is necessary.
New materials are always being added to the library and a sampling of the most recent additions can be found in the following list. To find more materials from the Washington, DC library, search the Catalog of Nonprofit Literature.
Complete and sign a Borrower Registration Form and provide a valid photo ID as well as a phone number and/or e-mail address.
Agree to assume full responsibility for item(s) borrowed; agree to return items by their due dates(s) and in the same condition.
Up to two circulating items may be borrowed for two weeks and should be returned by 5:00 pm on the due date.
Renewals and/or reserves are unavailable at this time.
Anyone can return the item(s) for you and we accept books returned via regular mail, FedEx, or in our drop box.
Items not returned by their due date will be considered overdue.
Foundation Center staff will notify borrowers by phone and/or e-mail when items are overdue.
Borrowers who fail to return items promptly will be denied future borrowing privileges.
If an item is damaged, lost, or not returned, the borrower is responsible for the cost of the item(s).
The library will submit an invoice to the borrower for the full replacement cost, plus a $10 handling fee.
