Proposal Writing Basics

Arlington, VA

Free

WHEN: Thursday, September 25, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

If you are new to proposal writing, you may be wondering:

  • What are the key components of a proposal to a foundation or corporation?
  • Who should sign a grant request?
  • How should the proposal be packaged?
  • Should you contact a funder if your proposal is turned down?
  • Where can you find more information on proposal writing, including sample proposals?

Proposal Writing Basics, an introductory overview of the process for new proposal writers, will give you some answers!

We will also demonstrate how you can use the Foundation Center's online database (Foundation Directory Online) to find funders interested in supporting your organization and its programs; and tell you about the resources available for FREE at the Arlington County Public Library.

Where:

Arlington County Public Library
1015 N. Quincy Street
Arlington, VA 22201
