The first program of its kind in the United States, the Standards for Excellence® Institute is a national initiative to promote the highest standards of ethics and accountability in nonprofit governance, management and operations. The Institute uses as its foundation the Standards for Excellence® program, a system of nonprofit sector self-regulation originated by The Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations.
Come learn all about the Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector®. This workshop will provide an overview of:
- The guiding principles and the specific standards and benchmarks addressed by the code.
- How the code can be used to implement change within your organization.
- What resources are available to support your efforts.
- How your organization can go about earning the Seal of Excellence.
